P-EBT Information
Tyrone football fans, We are excited about the first game of football against our rival Turpin this Friday at 7p.m. There is nothing like Friday night lights, the sounds of the game, and the excitement of the crowd! Fans at the games are important to our student athletes and to our community and school. We want to keep you and our players safe so we recommend that you wear a mask at the game if you cannot social distance at least 6 feet apart from others. Also at this time, we ask that fans do not come on to the field for pictures and hugs after the game. We love that tradition along with singing our fight song with our fans and look forward to a time when Covid-19 is gone and we can have these again. The players have worked hard and we do not want to lose our season because of the spread of the virus. Please come support our Bobcats, but also do your part to maintain the health of our players and other fans. To mitigate the need to quarantine individuals for being in attendance of a large gathering, we will limit the number of people at the game to under 500. A counter will be used at the ticket stands to ensure this number. Tyrone Athletics has partnered with the NFHS Network for all games this season. Tyrone Schools and NFHS have installed high definition automated cameras at the football stadium and in the main gym. The games will be streamed at www.nfhsnetwork.com This is a subscription based program: monthly charges apply. When you subscribe please list Tyrone Public Schools as your school of choice. The school receives a portion of the subscription fee. Also in the Great News category for Tyrone Athletics. We have installed new bleachers for our hometown fans. Handicap parking will be available on the backside of the new bleachers. In addition, the new bleachers have an access ramp. The new bleachers are located on the North side of the Field. Pressbox will be built at a later time. Thank you for your cooperation as we continue activities during the pandemic. Go Bobcats!!!
